Collaboration is our differentiator

Collaboration is a key theme that describes our approach to everything that we do at PIB for the benefit of clients and for each other. It defines our culture simply and can be interpreted easily for successfully managing many different scenarios in our day-to-day and bringing our brand to life.

There is no room for silo working. Instead, our people truly appreciate the power of working together to access the wide variety of specialisms, skillsets and technical knowledge across PIB for the benefit of our clients.

Taking this collaborative approach unlocks considered and diverse thinking as well as innovative decision-making, all of which enables an excellent service and the right outcomes for everyone involved. It’s a great way to build on the energy and years of combined experience to develop solutions and spot opportunities to further improve our service or strengthen relationships.

Gender pay gap

We’re dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. Gender pay gap reporting is a government initiative where businesses in the UK must publish a high-level snapshot of pay within their organisation and shows the pay difference in the average pay between all men and women. We welcome this as another opportunity to reflect on our journey to improving the gender balance at all levels of our organisation through tangible actions as part of a long-term plan.

On releasing our 2019 report, we featured in an industry report issued by Insurance Insider available here. The research highlights the right direction that PIB is heading amongst our broking peers, and we had the largest percentage point improvement between 2017 and 2019 in lowering our median gender pay gap by 5.8 points.

Even more progress has been made since then which will be shared in the next round of reporting.

Achieving growth through client excellence

PIB is on an ambitious journey to grow organically as well as through acquisition, with a big focus on delivering the best service and experience for our clients.

We’ll achieve this by following a strong moral compass, in order to put our clients’ needs above everything and tailor our service or advice to their unique requirements. We also work hard to maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and brokers so that we deliver on our commitments and expectations on us. By adopting a ‘growth mindset’, we challenge ourselves to always look for ways to adapt and move forwards amidst the changing environment and needs of our clients.
