Corporate Chartered status awarded for the broking division of PIB Group

October 20, 2020

PIB Group Limited (‘PIB Group’) has announced that PIB Risk Services Limited, the registered and legal entity for its specialist commercial lines brokers, has been awarded with Corporate Chartered status by the CII.

The prestigious status reflects a range of initiatives and processes that PIB Group operates to enable colleagues to take a highly customer centric approach, outlined in its code of conduct, processes and robust learning framework, for example.

Brendan McManus, CEO for PIB Group commented: “I am absolutely delighted that our specialist broking division within PIB Group has attained Chartered Broker status. To be externally accredited for our commitment to professional standards and high levels of conduct in such a short space of time since our formation five years ago, is testament to our practices and dedication of all our people.”

The status coincides with a timely milestone as several businesses within the division have started trading under the PIB Insurance Brokers brand, providing a simpler offering for customers and access to a broader range of specialist products and services.

It should also come as welcome news and represent another one of many positives to broking businesses being acquired by PIB. While many come into PIB under their own charters, this award means that all regulated businesses and teams can be brought into the corporate charter for PIB when they integrate fully into the division.

Other milestones that PIB Group has recently enjoyed include the completion of their 31st acquisition through Rigton Insurance Services, as well as celebrating their first appearance in the Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 league table of Britain’s mid-market private companies where PIB Group was ranked in 203 position.
