PIB Group acquires Residentsline in the UK

  • The respected Residentsline brand will live on as part of PIB

 The owner of Residentsline has said she was happy to sell her business knowing that the brand she’d spent 30 years building would be in safe hands with PIB Group Ltd (‘PIB’ or ‘the Group’).

PIB has acquired the Residentsline business in the UK, a well-known and well-respected brand selling flats and apartment insurance, owned by Managing Director Belinda Bagnall.

Around half of the Wolverhampton-based business, which has 30 people, is held with self-managed Residents’ Management Companies and the other half is through property managing agents.

Belinda commented: “Residentsline offer the same product over multiple insurers and our clients have been delighted with the service we provide them. They buy the brand and we’re proud of that, and while we’re joining forces with a bigger business, the Residentsline name will remain.

“But this is a family business and I have taken it as far as I can. It needs the additional resources that PIB possesses to enable it to maximise its huge potential. Becoming part of a larger Group allows us to focus on what we are very good at, which is supporting our clients and winning new ones.”

Residentsline will slot into PIB’s UK Speciality division, which includes PIB Insurance Brokers, PIB Risk Management and PIB Employee Benefits.
