PIB Group completes its acquisition of Alan Tierney & Partners Ltd in Ireland

PIB Group Ltd (‘PIB’) has completed another acquisition in Ireland through Alan Tierney & Partners Ltd (‘Tierneys’), following customary regulatory approval. Formed in 1979, Tierneys is a retail commercial insurance broker and a financial planning firm.

Formed by Alan Tierney in 1979, Alan Tierney & Partners is a retail commercial insurance broker and a financial planning firm. The business boasts a specialism in hospitality and leisure industries, in particular the pub sector. Its headquarters in Dublin therefore provide a prime location for its niche, providing insurance solutions to the pubs in the city and surrounding counties.

The arrival of Tierneys is another reminder that Ireland is a key territory for investment as part of PIB's ambitious international expansion strategy.
