Over to you Ann-Marie…
Tell us a bit about your career so far…
Before joining Fish, I worked for Lush (the bathbomb shop) – all of my jobs have been customer related whether this be face to face in retail or via the phone.
What attracted you to PIB as a career destination?
The ability to progress and the support given by PIB Group and Fish. I also really liked the ethics behind Fish and wanted to help support our cliental.
What does your role entail?
My role is Customer Services Representative for Fish. My role involves looking after motor insurance for disabled drivers and passengers. This can involve setting up new quotations and policies, renewing and cancelling policies and all other queries in between. Our motor insurance is specialised for disability drivers or passengers, so this is what drew me in specifically to this role as I felt I could have empathy and patience to assist the customers.
I’m enjoying my role and there’s lots to learn, but gaining new experience is great.
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself?
I was the semi finalist of Miss Natural 2011 – North West! I was also born and lived in Ireland until the age of 10 years.
Biggest achievement?
Being a mum! (I have a four year old)
Biggest piece of advice?
Ask questions, no question is too silly even if you may think it is and feel like you’re being a nuisance. It’s a big part of learning.
How do you relax outside of work?
I like to listen to music, cook, spend time with my daughter, crochet and go for walks.
